Occoquan “Peep Show” 2015

Greg and I have made a pact to do more “cheesy, fun” things this year. You know, like driving to Annapolis to watch the movie Annapolis, participating in a .5k “race” at Blue and Gray Brewing Company, or going to an 80’s prom (oh yes, that’s happening…stay tuned!!). So when the opportunity to head over to the Occoquan “Peep Show” arose this year, we were on board in a heartbeat! And we were not disappointed.

We don’t know if his aunt came to town or not, but Ralphie’s miniature bunny suit (otherwise known as cotton fluff) sure came in handy! As did the “fragile” delivery box and the official mini Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle. Has it really been 4 months since we last watched this epic film?

Fortunately, the peeps in this display had their eyes covered (at least partially)…

Taller than most of the kids!  Were we the only ones looking for a Farbucks?

Modeled after the original bakery in Occoquan, which is now the town’s Historic Museum. And at two cents a loaf for bread, you sure can’t beat the prices!

Notice the 320 3 Days Without an Accident sign?  Apparently a bunny peep lost his ear to a careless…err, hungry…shop employee!

Adobe did a color analysis…it’s black and blue…but it looks white and gold!!  The controversy might still be raging on, but oh well, at least 8 peeps like it! And apparently their marshmallowy-soft interiors house hearts bent toward charity, even if they are a bit #hashtaghappy.

They hired a stellar make-up artist. I mean, look at that perfect eyeliner!
